Alliance of Nefelus - Uktar 21st
Mon Nov 15, 2010 1:07 pm by Sam the DM
Over the next week Amyria approached the Platinum Shield of the Silver Marches with her new top priority: Helping Nefelus.

The Platinum Shield agreed to send Amyria as an envoy to Nefelus in the hopes that aid to them bring them out of seclusion and into the battle against the githyanki. The coalition did so despite the protests of Lord Torrance, who secretly fears that adding Nefelus to the …

The Coaltion - Uktar 6th - 8th
Mon Oct 18, 2010 4:21 pm by Sam the DM
The ship was landed, and scuttled, since the githzerai despised anything githyanki. From here the refuges of Akma’ad entered the city of Sayre on foot.

A messenger intercepted the heroes, asking if they were in fact the Heroes of Overlook and the Defenders of the Silver Marches. The messenger wanted to introduce his master to the heroes and moments later they were surprised to see that this …

Uktar 1st - 5th - Helping the Githzerai help you
Mon Sep 27, 2010 1:35 pm by Sam the DM
After a few days of resting and re-equiping the heroes were summoned by an out-of-breath guard with the report of a flying warship that was headed for the city. As the hustled to the West Gate, the group could hear the warship landing roughly outside of the city limits.

Bastion recognized it as a vessel of githyanki construction and everyone could see the lone individual onboard, just …

Marpenoth 30th – Well beyond the Mottled Tower
Mon Sep 20, 2010 2:49 pm by Sam the DM
Umberto quickly led his people down the platform and onto the base of the Ever-Tree. The group was fortunate that the dragons that lived here were sleeping. And that they were successful in their last skill challenge as Sarshan would have warned them that the heroes would be coming through the portal at any point. But they wouldn't be asleep for long.

Having weathered many repeated attacks …

Marpenoth 21st – 29th – A short rest, then back at it
Mon Aug 16, 2010 3:25 pm by Sam the DM
After well-deserved week of rest you are once again summoned to the High Hall.

“Greetings, friends,” intones Elder Cadrick as you approach the dais upon which he and the city’s other four leader stand. “We have received a desperate message from Megan Swiftblade, leader of the Free Riders, who you might remember. The Free Riders have discovered that General Zithiruun had a powerful ally in his …

Marpenoth 19th & 20th - Defending Overlook
Mon Aug 16, 2010 2:30 pm by Sam the DM
The heroes awaken to the sounds of catapult boulders slamming into the ramparts, and are swiftly summoned to the Council’s war room. During the meeting a messenger burst in with news that Nine Bells is burning. Great Elder Morgoff asked to group to look into it.

The cause of the destruction was a berbalang who spawned two others and they were flying about dropping alchemical bombs on the …

Marpenoth 18th – Epic Sized Rooms
Tue Jul 27, 2010 11:07 pm by Sam the DM
The president gathered his men and march north through Mountainroot Temple. The next room was larger than their keep back home. The eastern wall was partially destroyed and once again, the room was inhabited by more fey creatures.

Umberto ordered his troops to higher ground as he and Kregnok remained near the entrance to fend off attacks from that direction. Three rounds into the battle, the …

Marpenoth 17th – On to Mountainroot Temple
Mon Jul 19, 2010 2:41 pm by Sam the DM
The next morning the real Durkik Forgeheart once again thanked the heroes for rescuing him the day before (but they really did kinda kill him) and took them to the Stone Anvil to a secret area deep within the temple. He showed them the door to the Sepulcher and told them that he could go no further.

The heroes entered the area and saw the stone door at the far end of the enormous room. It was, …

Marpenoth 16th – A Warehouse and its operations
Mon Jul 19, 2010 2:35 pm by Sam the DM
The following night the group headed to the tavern and saw Captain Aerun talking to a shady individual in the corner. They had a momentary vision that they blew their cover, but they quickly (and wisely) ducked out of the way and prepared to follow him as he left.

They were not the sneakiest group ever and as Captain Aerun lead them to a seemingly quiet warehouse in the Blister district, they …
